They do many big things right, but a few too many little things (spotty or worse wifi) wrong--and the medium thing (running a sports oriented teens club, as their website had led us to imagine) was especially annoying.

But well maintained facilities with a great location. Food was tremendous.

Seaweed isn't their fault, but might be something to think about if considering the summer months.

Excursion Isla Mujeres run by Colors of the Caribe - departs directly from Clubmed dock, Catamaran (steel hull, not net), mayan heritage site, got to drive golf carts, swam and drank on a sandbar
Needs reno/could be better: The main pool needs renoBeach area - small, hard finding chairs with shade, have to get past the rocks (fist size to small boulders) getting down into the water, once there the water is wonderful

This is a very large Club Med but they have golf carts that constantly go from one end of the resort to the other. There is a nice water park for all ages, complete with slides. Like all Club Meds, the food is plentiful and delicious. And there are plentiful activities for kids and adults.

I booked two excursions thru the excursion office-Chichen Itza/Cenote and Snorkeling with Sea Turtles/Cenote. I reviewed them separately but would highly recommend.

A special shout-out to the Aguamarina Reception staff and to Meaghan, the Sales Manager, for being so helpful and friendly. They diligently worked to answer any questions and clear up some confusion on my part.

The team at the circus school is incredibly nice, pro and so facilitating for kids. They are simply amazing. We went pretty much every day! . 🤸🏻
