Kani Maldives

We had an amazing stay at Club Med Kani — everything was perfect from start to finish. My fiancé proposed to me, which was an exceptional moment on the beach, perfectly organized thanks to the restaurant team.
The Club Med was peaceful with an intimate atmosphere, exactly what we were looking for. The food was excellent, with plenty of delicious local specialties.
A special mention goes to Christine, with whom I loved doing yoga and fitness classes. She is skilled in various disciplines and adapts her lessons to everyone’s level. The morning runs were also very enjoyable.
Thanks to her and to the whole team. This holiday will remain forever in our memories.

I went to Club med Kani with my family this summer and it was an amazing experience for us. First of all we want to thank you our GO Stepan for making our experience smooth and relaxing. I want to mention as well the GOs Aldynaii and Dudu for their kindness and hospitality. The food was excellent and we want to thank the team restaurant for our breakfast, lunch and dinner experiences: Mojobor, Enes, Ashish, Raaidh and others. We enjoyed nice cocktails every evening thanks to the team bar : Kawsar, Umut and others. I want to mention the yoga coach Christine for her professionalism, her friendliness and for good vibes. Huge thank you to all the team snorkelling for their great job despite the weather conditions. And big thank you to all the managers : to the head of the village, to the manager of animation and others for making our experience unforgettable! Overall our vacation was great, we really enjoyed it! Highly recommended.

We stayed at Club Med Kani from 2–10 August with our two teenage daughters, and it was magical from start to finish. The island is stunning — exactly what you imagine a Maldivian paradise to be — and its compact size makes it friendly and easy to explore.

Our Manta overwater bungalow was clean, comfortable, and functional, with breathtaking views, though a little dated inside. The main buffet restaurant offered varied cuisines, while the Kandu restaurant had spectacular ocean views but limited opening. Highlights were the lively White Night and the beach Maldivian BBQ lunch.

We loved the daily snorkelling trips, swimming alongside mantas, dolphins, and turtles, and the yoga/fitness sessions with the incredible “Fit Queen Christine”. Our daughters loved hooking up with like minded teenagers from all over the world.

A huge thank you to: Candice, Shane and Clem (customer service), Ezechiel and Yoe (snorkelling), Booba, Al Almin, and Siva (bar), and the radiant Celene for her constant joy and energy.

Minor improvements could be made to food variety and décor, but the warmth, professionalism, and fun from the team made this a holiday we’ll treasure forever.

Club Med is all about activities, fun, and the amazing GOs (the teams who make it all happen). I’ve visited several Club Med resorts for skiing and always had a great time, but Kani in the Maldives was something truly special for our family. Within 24 hours, we felt part of the Club Med family. The people here made all the difference—friendly, fun, and 100% committed to making every guest’s holiday unforgettable.

Luxury hotels offer great service, but this felt different—more personal, more joyful. Christine, the fitness and yoga instructor, brought daily fitness into our holiday in a way the whole family loved, even the kids. One of the best yoga teachers I’ve experienced. Al Amin greeted us each evening with our favourite drinks (and a few surprises) and made us feel so welcome. The reception team, led by Candice, was attentive and couldn’t do enough for us. Daily aqua aerobics was another highlight—an energetic, laughter-filled workout in paradise.

The Maldives is already magical, but Club Med Kani added the sparkle. Thank you for an unforgettable experience.

We just returned from an unforgettable holiday at Club Med Kani and can't recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the warmth and friendliness of the staff made us feel at home – this is truly what sets Kani apart.

The reception team, under the leadership of Chris, was one of the best we’ve experienced at any Club Med village. A special thank you to Beste, who handled every issue with efficiency – she definitely deserves to be the next reception manager. Julliet, the dedicated Platinum members liaison, looked after our every need with kindness and professionalism. And Noa, with her lovely presence, made dinners and parties even more enjoyable – we shared many laughs and great memories together.

The restaurant team was equally impressive. Hats off to Chef Saji and Ahmet, who together delivered one of the most memorable buffets we’ve ever had at Club Med – every meal was a treat. Enes, the deputy restaurant manager, is a standout – incredibly competent and attentive. He runs the dining experience so well, we genuinely hope to see him as the full restaurant manager next time when we are back. Ashish, another assistant manager, always greeted us with a big smile and wonderful conversation. A big thank you as well to Shifzaan, who served us consistently with such care and warmth.

The bar team, led by the talented Siyar, kept service smooth and seamless – we never had to wait long for drinks, no matter how busy things got. Palitha, Umut and Ripon took exceptional care of us throughout our stay, always remembering our preferences and going the extra mile. And the food truck run by Babul became one of our favorite pit stops – delicious snacks with a friendly smile.

We also had wonderful interactions outside of dining. Candice, the Manta manager, and her lovely assistant Clem made our overwater lounge experiences very special. Christine, the fitness GO, was excellent – her energy and expertise in every lesson made working out something to look forward to. The sailing team, led by a very capable team including Umar, Shuw, Amadou, was super helpful and welcoming, ensuring we had safe and fun experiences on the water.

Finally, a huge thank you to Anaïs, the deputy chief of village, and Ragab, the chief of village, for leading such a dedicated and passionate team. Their leadership was evident in every aspect of the resort – from the smiles of the staff to the seamless execution of activities and events.

Club Med Kani delivered not just a holiday, but a true escape – full of heart, joy, and genuine hospitality. We can’t wait to return!
