Michès Playa Esmeralda Dominican Republic

This club is just wow. It is such a beautiful place. We liked the way the club is played out with small buildings of 2 levels max. The suites by the beach are stunning, with your own 1 bedroom beach house and private pool. We stayed in a regular room which was really big, nicely decorated. Internet is fast if you need to work. Staff is really nice and food is excellent. The location is exceptional as it feels there is nobody around, the beach is just stunning and the pool is amazing. It is worth the 90 minutes drive from Punta Cana airport. It is an amazing place to go and recharge. Kite surfers can also go there in windy season (which is no May apparently 😕) or if you foil. We'll come back to Club Med Michès.

This was our second visit to Miches and once again we were not disappointed. From our arrival at the airport to the club everything was organized and the staff was so welcoming. We were upgraded with our status to the La Perla section which has is own bar and pool. Our room had an ocean view and was huge with a separate living room and two spacious bathrooms. The staff from bartenders to restaurant staff were wonderful. Especially Vladamir at the La Perla bar who always greeted us with a huge smile. The food was amazing and the drinks were plentiful. The club chef du village was very visible and very attentive to the guests. We also took advantage of the spa and had an amazing massage. We also took the lobster cruise which was a blast. Overall a 10 out of 10.

From the moment we arrived, we were struck by how genuinely welcoming and kind the entire staff was. What impressed me the most was how multi-talented they all are—each staff member seemed to master more than one discipline, which made the whole experience even more remarkable. Their professionalism, friendliness, and energy really set the tone for an unforgettable stay.

A very special thank you to Jonathan Islas (tennis coach). Not only did he help me improve my tennis skills every single day during my stay, but he also brought an incredible warmth and positivity to every interaction. He was always approachable, full of energy, and truly made the effort to connect with guests—whether on the court or while joining us at meals. His smile, great personality, and natural ability to make everyone feel comfortable are exactly the qualities that make Club Med so unique.

Overall, the team at Michès Esmeralda exceeded all expectations. Their passion, versatility, and genuine care for guests made this experience one that I’ll remember and recommend wholeheartedly.

My family and I had an incredible time at ClubMed Miches!! We were held back by the Air Canada flight strike but were taken care of every step of the way!
I CANNOT say enough about the Petit Club/the daycare we had our son attend. He is a toddler who has visual impairments and I was worried he wouldn’t enjoy it as much as he did. He did so well!! The staff are phenomenal. I trust them 10000% and would go back to have him there again and again. BIG BIG BIG special shoutout to Laura, Myriam(Mimi), Ambre and my sons #1 Andrise!!! She was by his side every step of the way ensuring he was smiling and being included with all the activities the group did together.
