Guilin China

We visited during non-peak season (after China summer vacation, and before their National Day holidays), and therefore, had the opportunity to enjoy intimate one-on-one sports sessions with the GOs/GEs, plus many great interactions over meals and drinks with the charismatic Chief de Village Lim, attentive and humorous Circle, caring and always encouraging Carol, funny Edwin, enthusiastic Peggy, gentlemanly F&B manager Adi, sincere and earnest bar manager Maulana and restaurant manager Joe, and many more. Also kudos to bartender Shaun. This young lad knows his stuff and makes mean cocktails.

The nightly theatre shows by the GOs were entertaining. We stayed 6 nights and the routines (songs, dances, skits and acrobatic acts) were never repeated.

Hardware wise, our Deluxe Room with balcony was brightly lit, spacious and clean. It was a comfortable stay, and buggy rides were always a call away to drive us around the humongous resort.

All in all, we were well looked after by team Club Med Guilin, and had a most wonderful time.

Congratulations to the Chief of Village and his assistant: always present, attentive, warm, and truly caring with every GM. Their involvement and availability are felt throughout the resort, setting the tone for a memorable stay.

A thousand thanks to Loïc, the real GO: welcoming, funny, kind-hearted, always ready to help and to share his favorite local spots with rare generosity. Meeting him truly made our stay unforgettable.

Thank you to the Petit Club: a very special word for Rachel at the Baby Club, who looked after our daughters as if they were her own. Her sweetness, patience, and genuine care gave us absolute peace of mind, and our girls were so happy with her every single day. Victor, leading the Petit Club, was also wonderfully kind and thoughtful. With so few children, the care felt almost tailor-made – simply priceless for parents.

The restaurant: at first, the buffet surprised us a little, but very quickly we loved it! Ultra-fresh products, healthy cuisine, balanced flavors. Huge kudos to Adi, who runs it all masterfully, with so much kindness and professionalism. Special mention also for the restaurant service, always impeccable and attentive, and for the rooms, perfectly cleaned twice a day with great care.

The sports activities: thank you to Richie, who really puts in the effort to deliver motivating and enjoyable sessions, with energy and dedication.

To sum up Club Med Guilin is a haven of peace in the middle of stunning hills – a place where you feel cared for from start to finish. More than just a stay, it’s a truly unforgettable experience!

My first time experiencing CubMed and I really love the energy of the place and people. The G.Os are fun and genuine, especially Debra, Maulana and Peggy. Rooms are nice and the entire place is very comfortable with nice scenery and a lot of art works. A place rich in culture, scenic and fun!

The coach is very patient to guide me as the beginner, I feel to like this rock climbing gradually and will try it again in recent days or maybe come back for it

Overall hospitality is good, a connected room was arranged for us which really made our stay with elderly perfect 👍🏻. Places especially hotel rooms were clean and spacious. Staffs were friendly and helpful. Evening shows were enjoyable with lots of fun. Just one comment that the Club facilitates are more suitable to families with kids, or groups of friends to enjoy and participate. Elderly guests seemed a bit out of the place since there’s not much indoor activities designed for them. Excursions were good for all ages but costly, of course 🙃!
