Additionally, over the past year, a whopping 225,930 lovebirds have typed 'weddings in Italy' and related terms into their search bars, an 8% increase from previous years.

With undeniable Caribbean charm, Jamaica rounds off the top five most sought-after wedding destinations in the world, with an impressive overall score of 68 out of 100. Capturing the hearts of lovers across the world, #jamaicawedding has accumulated a whopping 11.5 million TikTok views. In the past year alone, Jamaica has amassed an impressive 42,750 online searches.

A blend of neon lights and natural beauty, Japan takes fifth place, with an overall score of 65 out of 100. TikTokers are certainly riding the Japan wedding wave with 1,200,000 views on related hashtags. Japan is also proving popular when it comes to online searches, amassing 97,840 searches in the past year when it comes to wedding destination hunting.

Following closely behind in the ranking as the world's second most popular wedding destination is Lake Como, with an impressive overall score of 91 out of 100. Yearly, an average of 87,890 online searches are made by love birds across the world looking for weddings in Lake Como, a 40% increase in searches compared with previous years.

The Italian lakes are a stunning place to wed and Lake Como has the most TikTok views of all destinations analysed, with an impressive 189.3 million viewers. ‘Lake Como wedding’ features on 119,000 Instagram posts, so if you’re looking for a trendy, social media-approved wedding destination, Lake Como makes a great option.

Colorado is a unique wedding destination, with its cooler climate and mountainous landscapes, unlike the others in the ranking. It makes the perfect destination for those looking for something different than the classic beach destination wedding.

With an overall score of 80 out of 100, Colorado proves to be both the inspiration and aspiration of weddings across the globe. 529,000 Instagram posts have been made by users, proudly showing off Colorado as their wedding destination, with many using the picturesque mountains as a backdrop. Not to mention that #coloradowedding has 76.7 million views on TikTok!

This country receives more online interest than any of the countries in the top five, with 74,940 searches being made this year for ‘Thailand wedding’. There are 5,000 pictures on Instagram, as well as 417,600 views on relevant TikTok hashtags.
