We woke up to the sounds of the ocean and birds in the trees. Our mornings were calm and unhurried, just the way we like them. For breakfast, we could choose between different restaurants or opt for in-room service – which we did one day. It was pretty amazing to enjoy fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, and coffee while looking out at the beachfront and watching Clara jumping around in our private pool.
After breakfast, we usually headed to one of the pools. Clara met lots of friends and sometimes spent time at the Kids Club, where the team was incredible. They took the children on all kinds of adventures, including nature walks, beach games, swimming, creative workshops, cooking classes, and so much more. Meanwhile, Frenchie and I relaxed by the Zen pool or enjoyed a couples’ massage at the spa. At lunchtime, we met up with Clara, who excitedly shared all about her adventures. We absolutely loved the amazing buffet, which offered something for everyone to enjoy.
There were plenty of activities to choose from in the afternoon, like snorkeling, kayaking, and diving. On one of the days, we decided to go on an excursion to Moyenne Island, where we encountered beautiful turtles and explored the vibrant sealife from a semi-submersible. We also spent Christmas Day at the Resort, so Clara had plenty of festive activities to take part in, including welcoming Santa, who arrived by boat (how cool is that!). He even brought gifts for all the children, which made her day.
Dinner was another highlight of our days. Before sitting down for the meal, we enjoyed snacks, drinks, and music. This was one of our favorite times of the day. Later, we could choose between different restaurants, but we usually opted for the buffet since Clara wanted to stay close to all the entertainment. (I’ll remember that evening for a long time). After dinner, the atmosphere came alive with colorful shows, music, and dancing – Clara was in heaven!
