Dedicated areas specifically designed for their needs, and equipment designed with a view to comfort and safety. At Ixtapa Pacific, the colours of the jungle and its animals adorn the walls, inviting the children (aged 4 to 10) to discover this fabulous universe in a fun way.

The magic recipe for perfect balance means serenity for you, and respect of your children’s natural rhythms and needs. Walks, early learning activities and games help develop the children’s sense of movement, sound, colour, shape and texture.
Your children may have lunch with their G.O®s, it’s entirely up to you.

The children explore and discover talents and friendships in an environment made to measure.
At Petit Club Med®, our G.O®s cater to their needs all day long, with a children’s lunch menu and specially devised evening activities.

This restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in its air-conditioned themed lounges: the mirror room, the mask room, the indoor garden, the aquarium and the star-gazing lounge. A spacious, elegant terrace looking onto the ocean completes the picture. Our staff prepare a selection of low-calorie dishes daily. Parents can prepare their little ones' meals in the Baby Corner.
The Luna Azul
Enjoy a unique evening in this eccentrically colourful Mexican-style restaurant serving creative and inventive cuisine in a lush green environment overlooking the beach and coconut palms. Don't forget to book your table - the restaurant is open for dinner only, and has waiter service. After dinner, you can prolong your evening in the bar. The restaurant may be closed at certain periods.

Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo are seen by the Mexicans as two inseparable cities, in the state of Guerrero. They are twin towns, 6.5 km apart, with quite different personalities:
- Ixtapa is 7 kms from Club Med.
The city grew from its coconut palm plantations; today it has smart restaurants and luxury shops, a great place for shopping addicts.
Travel time: a 10-minute drive
- Zihuatanejo is 30 kms from Club Med
A former fishing village, it is now a totally charming town with narrow winding streets where you’ll find plenty of art galleries and craft shops.

The Resort has a resident nurse.
Mosquitos can transmit certain viral or parastic diseases, so the use of tropical mosquito repellents for the skin and clothing is recommended.
Risk only of the minor form of malaria (vivax) in certain relatively remote zones, far from the Resort, so you do not need to take anti-malaria drugs.
Passports & visas
For all UK citizens, a valid passport is essential when you travel abroad. A full 10-year passport is required for holidays to all countries featured on our website. The passport must be valid for at least 6 months beyond your return date with one blank visa page. Make sure your passport is valid and check with the embassy or the consulate of your destination country if you need a visa for your chosen destination prior to travel. It is vital that the name given when booking your holiday (printed on the ticket and itinerary) is exactly the same as written on your passport. Any child, however old, must have his/her own passport.
