Martinique has a hot, tropical climate, with a sunny south coast and a lush mountainous north. The island has a warm dry season from December to April – a favourite time of year for holidaymakers – and a stormy rainy season from June to November, when most hotels close for the year.

The best time to visit Martinique is between December and April when the weather is dry and sunny with average highs between 28°C and 30°C.
