"Between two seas" evening (Tiriolo)

Perched on the mountainside and sandwiched between two seas, Triolo is a small peaceful village with a very old history. You'll be welcomed on arrival in the village square, from which you can stroll through the narrow streets that lead up to the castle.
Typical dinner followed by a folkloric evening.

Cruise to the Aeoian Islands (1 day)

Excursion recommended by our Discovery Centre.

Discover the majestic landscapes of islands where the spirit of the gods and giants is still present, in the heart of the Tyrrhenian Sea. Visit Stromboli, renowned for its beauty and volcanic eruptions. Visit the acropolis of Lipari and its charming fishing village.

At Vulcano, stroll through the back streets of the village and enjoy the benefits of its sulphur-rich spa water.

Etna (1 day)

Cross the Straits of Messina to admire the largest volcano in Europe. The beauty and history of Ena, with a mountain guide. Lunch inlcuded.

Excursion to discover the fabulous flavours of Calabria. Taste local wines and oil. Visit a local farm, with animals.

From Vibo Valentia to Pizzo and Piedigrotta (1/2 day)

Your visit will begin with the village of Vibo Valentia, where you'll see the archaeological museum and Baroque-style cathedral. Free time in the village of Pizzo, where you can walk through the narrow streets and taste a genuine Calabrian ice cream, the Tartufo. You'll round off the day with a visit to the magnificent church of Piedigrotta.

Reggio Calabria and Scilla (1 day)

Right at the tip of the boot (the southernmost tip of Italy), Reggio was founded in the 8th century BC by the Greeks, a period of great splendour, rich in history and tradition. You'll have a guided tour of the city centre where you can admire the famous Riace Bronzes. Then take a walk into the heart of the town, where you can admire the Neo-Roman style cathedral with its superb baroque chapel, and the Aragonese castle. You will then go on to admire the beauty of Scilla, where you'll be served a typical meal, before ending the day with a visit to Chianalea, a charming historic fisherman's neighbourhood.

Taormina (1 day)

Visit one of Sicily's most beautiful cities. A local guide will take you round the Greco-Roman theatre, followed by free time to shop, and stroll in the narrow streets of Taormina. Lunch in the city centre.

Tropea (1/2 day)

Recommended by our Discovery Centre.

Located atop a cliff with a sheer drop down to a turquoise sea, Tropea has preserved numerous traces of its age-old history. You'll love its churches, the Norman-style Dome and narrow backstreets. It also has some good shops! (free time).
