The Resort

Synonymous with splendour and adventure, sultans and harems, fabulous palaces and bustling bazaars, Turkey tantalises the European imagination. Its Mediterranean coastline south of the Taurus mountains has an abundance of isolated bays interspersed with ancient ruins. South of Antalya, the Club Med Resort of Beldi nestles on the Turkish Riviera where history and mythology mingle. In beautiful grounds resplendent with colourful flowers, shaded by a pine grove and bordering a beautiful beach, its bungalows, restaurants, bars and swimming pools invite families to take it easy, between energetic sports activities and excursions*.

"In the mountains near Olympus, there are flames spurting out of the ground. They are caused by escaping methane and help to sustain the myth of Chimera. According to the legend, Bellepheron, riding Pegasus, killed the dragon in these mountains and ever since, the monster has gone on breathing fire from below ground to show its anger."
