Review of Club Med Kamarina

Sicily is a mountainous island with a stunning countryside and a balmy Mediterranean climate, perfect for relaxing. Beyond this, it has an immeasurably rich history and culture. Though part of Italy, it has its own distinct character, shaped by the influences of its myriad conquerors.

Located by a beach on one side and lush vegetation on the other, Kamarina is a charmingly intimate family resort, yet its grounds cover approximately 96 hectares.

What to do in Sicily

One of the first things you’re likely to do in Sicily is sample their world-famous food and wine. After all, they don’t call Sicily 'God's Kitchen' for nothing. Sicily is also the home of Mount Etna (the largest active volcano in Europe), which is well worth a visit. Culture vultures should be sure to visit Valley of the Temples and Donnafugata Castle, for a chance to soak up a slice of Sicilian history.

Club Med resorts

In its excursions, Kamerina truly excels, featuring visits to numerous UNESCO World Heritage sites, such as the Valley of the Temples and Donnafugata Castle. Guests can also take advantage of day trips to Malta and Syracuse, and take a guided walk on Mount Etna - Europe’s highest active volcano.
